Zero Level Error Code Descriptions

Zero-level error codes (codes 000 to 099) are returned in the TU4.0 or TU4.1 fixed format response (FFR) due to a failure of software, hardware, or telecommunication lines.

Code Description Troubleshooting Tips
001 The transaction was abnormally terminated due to a system error.
  • Retry transaction.
  • If the situation persists, notify the TransUnion Global Service Desk.
006 An internal software error has occurred.
  • Retry transaction.
  • If the situation persists, notify the TransUnion Global Service Desk.
033 Too many total or duplicate inquiries exist on file.
  • Retry transaction without excess inquiries and duplicates.
034 Subject record was updated after selection for this inquiry.
  • Retry transaction.
  • If the situation persists, notify the TransUnion Global Service Desk.
041 The transaction was abnormally terminated due to an internal DecisionPoint error. Notify the TransUnion Service Desk.
042 DecisionPoint model error. Notify the TransUnion Global Service Desk.
043 Invalid response from service server.
  • Retry transaction.
  • If the situation persists, notify the TransUnion Global Service Desk.
050 Invalid or no response for desired service.
  • Retry transaction.
  • If the situation persists, notify the TransUnion Global Service Desk.
051 Internal system error returned for desired service.
  • Retry transaction.
  • If the situation persists, notify the TransUnion Global Service Desk.
052 Unable to connect to data provider.
  • Retry transaction.
  • If the situation persists, notify the TransUnion Global Service Desk.
053 Request to data provider timed out.
  • Retry transaction.
  • If the situation persists, notify the TransUnion Global Service Desk.
054 Invalid, incomplete, misformatted, or duplicate type of input data to data provider. Check the input data required by the third party data provider and retry transaction after correction.
055 Invalid request to service server.
  • Retry transaction.

056 Response from data provider could not be created.
  • Retry transaction.
  • If the situation persists, notify the TransUnion Global Service Desk.
057 Unable to connect to secondary data provider.
  • Retry transaction.

090 The service requested is not available at this time.
